End Social Isolation

The Mind-Bridge app is a unified platform designed to reduce social isolation by connecting survivors and caregivers to adaptive therapeutic activities in their communities. Through an easy-to-use interface, users can explore programs like support groups, adaptive sports, food for healing, and art and music therapy. Mind-Bridge manages registration, scheduling, reminders, and community interaction. It also helps partner organizations track participation and outcomes for continuous improvement and future research. Built to support patients, caregivers, and communities, Mind-Bridge app creates structure, connection, and belonging, right from your phone.

Our Upcoming Research

Our upcoming research will evaluate how evidence-based, adaptive therapeutic activities can reduce social isolation and improve recovery for people living with brain injury and other neuro-cognitive disorders. Using our activity-based support alongside the Mind-Bridge app, we will measure changes in social connection, quality of life, and engagement over time. By combining pre- and post-program questionnaires, participation data from the app, and survivor/caregiver feedback, our qualitative and quantitative research will help us refine our model in Ohio and build a strong foundation for scaling the End Social Isolation Project nationwide.
