End Social Isolation
Strengthening Organizations Connecting Communities Transforming Recovery
From Vision to Action
The idea began with Brain Injury Life, a story of lived experience that revealed one of the greatest barriers to long-term recovery: social isolation.
That vision became the End Social Isolation Movement, dedicated to advancing community-based neurorehabilitation through Adaptive Therapeutic Activities.
Today, we are taking the next step—working alongside organizations to strengthen community recovery through collaboration, education, research, technology, and strategic partnerships.
Tomorrow, these partnerships will help shape MindBridge App, a collaborative platform designed by and for the organizations it serves.
Why We Exist
Organizations across the country are doing extraordinary work.
Our role is to help them become even stronger.
We do that by connecting people, sharing knowledge, supporting research, engaging universities, building partnerships, and developing innovative tools that improve community-based recovery.
Areas of Collaboration
Adaptive Therapeutic Activities: Supporting the implementation of evidence-informed activity-based programs that reduce social isolation, support connections, and encourage meaningful community participation.
Organizational Capacity Building: Helping organizations strengthen programs, operations, partnerships, and long-term sustainability.
Research & Evaluation: Partnering with universities and healthcare organizations to conduct qualitative and quantitative research, evaluate outcomes, and continuously improve community-based recovery.
Education & Professional Development: Providing presentations, workshops, webinars, educational resources, and collaborative learning opportunities for survivors, caregivers, students, professionals, and organizations.
Strategic Partnerships: Connecting organizations, universities, healthcare providers, researchers, volunteers, and community leaders to build stronger collaborative networks.
